You may be one of the truly lucky ones who are naturally self-confident all the time.
However for many of us our level of self-confidence can be subjective. It may vary depending on internal and external factors, such as mood and emotions, a given day, situation or circumstance.
Who we are with, what we are doing and our comfort level can also determine how self-confident we may or may not feel at any given time.
It's hard to stay grounded in full self-confidence when we are affected by so much that is outside of our control.
Self-confidence can be boosted in some simple ways. A daily practice of gratitude, thoughtfulness, prayer, and/or meditation can help strengthen self-awareness and confidence.
Getting enough rest, staying well nourished and hydrated, getting any kind of physical activity and having a regular self-care routine will improve general wellness and overall confidence.
Always a work in progress, we can begin by making every effort to show up looking our best as often as we possibly can, give ourselves permission to indulge in something special, and to be gentle with ourselves as much we need to.
Self-confidence exudes beauty; it’s undeniable and liberating. I’m not quite there yet, but I am setting my sites on it. Hopefully you are too!
