I know that typically when we hear the term “statement jewelry” we think of something big and bold, maybe even ostentatious. Originally, I think that this was a good description that was intended to give traction and create buzz around a trend that would engage and motivate a target audience of consumers.
Whether you choose to wear a single pearl or a hundred pearls, it is your voice in the form of your personal style. You are free to make the same statement every time you put on your jewelry or change it up as often as you like. As we evolve and grow so can our choices. There is power and freedom in having the ability to choose whatever statement you wish to make at any given time, even if it’s just a personal reflection in a piece of jewelry you decide to wear, as well as where and when you decide to wear it.
Anyone can partake in the personification of statement jewelry in their own way. Keep it simple or take it to a higher level, whatever suits your style, values and voice. Be open to new possibilities of expression in every aspect of your personal journey. Recognize that you can voice something of yourself however you wish each time you step out into the world with your personal style choices - and your jewelry.
